This Privacy Policy describes how your personal information is handled in SeismoSense for iOS and Android.

Data Collected

• Accelerometer Readings: We use your device's accelerometer to detect seismic activities. These readings are processed entirely natively on your device.
• Location Data: "Always-On" location access is required to continuously track and automatically update your Active Monitoring Zone and to log the precise geographic coordinates of detected seismic events. This data is processed locally and never transmitted to external servers.

Data Storage & Sync

All seismic data generated or logged by SeismoSense is processed exclusively on your device. We do not operate any external servers to collect your personal monitoring history or location.

If you choose to use the "Sign in with Apple" feature, your encrypted preferences and event history may be synced securely via Apple's iCloud services to your other devices. Apple manages this synchronization, and we as developers do not have access to your synchronized data or your iCloud account.

Data Sharing

We do not share, sell, or disclose your personal data, location, or seismic logs to any third parties whatsoever.

Third-Party Services

SeismoSense contains no third-party analytics trackers or advertising networks. Authentication is handled securely via Apple's official "Sign in with Apple" framework.
